Glossary



Mirror. -Glass surface, covered on its back by a layer of mercury or a metal plate, which reflects light and images of objects in front. Something that portrays, reflects or gives the image of something.

Diffuse. -
Wide, dilated, extensive and not very precise: diffuse properties. Vague, fuzzy, unclear: the fog only allowed to distinguish diffuse profiles.

Translucent, translucent. -That allows light to pass but does not allow to see clearly through its mass.

Glasses. -Object used by some people to correct vision defects, or protect the eyes from harmful reflections, consisting of two crystals, with or without optical graduation, mounted on a frame or mount that rests on the nose and that is held behind the ears with sideburns, so that each crystal is in front of an eye.

Ace of light. -Form of energy that illuminates things, makes them visible and spreads through particles called photons."Light impresses the retina of the eye.Natural or solar light.

Absorption. -Action to absorb.

Transparency, transparency. - Quality of a transparent thing.

Penumbra. -Situation in which there is little light, but it does not reach the darkness.

Shadow. - Dark image that projects an opaque body on a surface when intercepting the rays of light.
